Model: Meri (aka ~FallenOpenHer )
Photograph/Adulation: Xander (aka =kidscruff )

third in the series...more colour adjustment here. what i was envisaging as i was taking the photos was ~FallenOpenHer plummeting towards earth from the outer atmosphere, looking up to where she began and arching herself to increase the rate of descent. i had hoped that the lens distortion would be enough to maybe create a bowl effect with the surrounding horizon, to appear as if she had fallen through the centre of the earth, but that didnt really work. curse fixed-lens digis.
the other two so far are:

and

although this may well be my favourite.
thanks for viewing, and as always, full-view is recommended. thats what it's there for.

edit: no manipulation apart from colours, levels, crop, frame, and text. meri is a trained (and very highly trained at that) trampolinist and she knows how to do shit like this without breaking her neck. if you want to try and see what she's doing really, flip your head 180degrees round. it's a back-flip to front-drop. don't try this at home unless you want to encourage death or paralysis.

Nice capture. BUT I think it could need just a little more contrast.
:iconkidscruff:
thanks.
i'm a fan of contrast, but i'm working on an uncalibrated screen, and i suspect you are too, unless you can afford the ridiculous prices for a spyder calibrator or similar. and seeing as the vast majority of users are viewing on uncalibrated screens, the contrast/brightness values are very much dependant on the screen you view it on. for example, all of the photo's i process on my g5 look washed-out and pale on most lcds, yet stuff processed on my g4 looks too dark...i usually process shots for either printing or the web, here i have processed for the print values, as i plan to submit as a print.
